Heated cabins sleeping 12-16 in cot-sized bunk beds. Electricity and full bathrooms (toilets, sinks, showers). Porches with benches.

Food service through the end of August. Facilities available for catering use after that.

We have a variety of buildings on camp that can accommodate groups for presentations. The Dining Hall is our most "meeting friendly" space for A/V presentations and has wifi, a sound system and an 84" motorized screen for projection.

Walden has an extensive and beautiful lakefront. Our motorized water sports and sailboats are typically not available to rental groups but depending on the group, dates, staff, etc., that can be negotiated. The same holds true for waterfront staff. We would require the group to have its own lifeguards to supervise use of the waterfront if Walden were not providing such.

Camp Walden is located on 100 pristine acres of old-growth forest, meadows and sandy beaches in Northern Michigan. As a summer camp for children, we offer a menu of 50 different activities from which campers design their own schedules. Our grounds include eight lighted tennis courts and a lighted basketball court, two expansive athletic fields with baseball diamond and softball backstops, an English saddle riding stables, extensive arts and crafts and theater facilities, radio station, computer room, photography dark room, nature nook, organic garden and much more.

Cabins feature electricity, heaters and full bathrooms, cot-sized bunk beds and shelves for personal items.
