In Cabell Cottage, you will find three bedrooms, two full baths, a den, a dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. Cottage amenities include a washer and dryer, satellite TV, WiFi, heat and AC. (Sleeps 6)

A-Loft is an apartment with one bedroom, a pull out sofa bed, one full bath, a microwave and a small fridge. Amenities include heat, AC and WiFi. (Sleeps 3)

The Pill Box has four bedrooms, one full bath, a fridge and a microwave. Amenities include heat, AC and WiFi. (Sleeps 8)

Our camper cabins are large, bunk-styled buildings with nearby bathhouses. They can accommodate as few as seven people and as many as 18. These buildings are ideal for large groups that are leasing the facilities for a wedding, retreat or other extended-stay event. (Can accommodate up to 160 people)

The Feed Bag, the delightful dining hall, has a full commercial kitchen, hand-made wooden tables and benches, a large, hand-built fireplace made of river stone and a wrap around porch with sunset views of the river. We provide food service which includes an experienced Food Service Manager along with dedicated, excellent and professional staff.

We have three great facilities ready to fit the needs of your meeting or conference.

1. West Lodge is a spacious recreation hall with a large stage and an open floor with a fireplace. This space includes lighting and audio equipment ready to use. Large enough to fit 150 people.

2. The Feed Bag is a delightful space with hand-made wooden tables and benches, a large, hand-built fireplace made of river stone and a wrap around porch with sunset views of the river. Large enough to fit 150 people.

3. The Beehive is a an open space with tables and has WiFi access. Large enough to fit 50 people.

We have a projector and screen onsite that is available for your group to use upon request.

We are located right along the Cowpasture River. We allow outside groups to bring lifeguards with proof of American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.

Nestled in Virginia’s Western Highlands of Bath County and surrounded by the George Washington National Forest, Mont Shenandoah offers many acres of fields and woods with waterfront access to the pristine mountain river, the Cowpasture River. During the summer months we are a successful and highly regarded girls’ summer camp. The rest of the year, we are the ideal setting for a wedding, rehearsal dinner, retreat, reunion or any other special event whether it’s for a day or a full weekend. We also rent to camps running their own camp program.
