Our accommodations include:

- Family Campground, with 64 campsites for RV and tent camping

We serve buffet-style meals. There are two main entrees along with side dishes, salad bar for lunch and dinner, beverages, and dessert.

Please arrive at the scheduled meal time that applies to your group. Meal times for groups are noted on your Welcome Sheet, and are specific to your group.

The times that follow are approximate; always go by the specific time you have received from the Front Desk or your group coordinator:

Breakfast - The buffet line generally opens at 8:00 AM for breakfast

Lunch - Noon for lunch and Sunday noon dinner

Dinner - 5:00 PM for dinner (all days except Friday), and 6:00 PM Friday dinner

Everything at Spruce Lake - the peaceful surroundings, friendly hospitality, and spaces for rest and for meeting - are all for the purpose of pointing people toward Christ. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, we provide a weekly Sunday morning worship service for everyone on the grounds.

With multiple meeting rooms in our Retreat Center Area, plus meeting rooms in Mountain View Activity Center, and meeting space in each of our Mountainside Lodges, we offer flexibility in accommodating the needs of groups large and small. Spruce Lodge offers all-around accessibility, state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, and proximity to all surrounding retreat center amenities.

Assignment of meeting rooms will correspond with the lodging reserved and the size of your group. Some come equipped with a snack counter and refrigerator. Teaching aids, such as white boards and flip charts, are available upon request at no cost. A rental fee is charged to use mounted or portable audiovisual systems.

Our lake is small but beautiful, fed by a mountain stream that is a headwater of the Brodhead Watershed flowing from our Spruce Mountain south to the Delaware River. The lake supports paddle boating, kayaking and fishing. Our outdoor pool is open nearly every day from Memorial Day through Labor Day Weekends.

Spruce Lake is Christian retreat, conference and youth ministry center with two locations in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania. We offer Christian events and retreats throughout the year, and space for groups to hold their own programs and events. We are just 2-3 hours from New York, Philadelphia and Delaware.

We serve as a fitting venue for youth group and church retreats, and conferences for business and denominations. With friendly hospitality, accommodations for over 500 people, flexible meeting spaces, and full-service dining with buffet-style meals, hosting your next event or retreat at Spruce Lake is ideal for your group.

Christian schools and homeschool co-ops can experience our day or overnight Outdoor Education program.
